| Stage | Correcting a mistake |
|---|---|
| 3 | Allowed, within the appearance, without penalty |
| 4 | Not allowed |
| 5 | Not allowed |
Why it matters
At Stage 3 a wrong turn spotted and put right costs nothing. From Stage 4, the run is marked as you called it, so the habit to build early is to call slowly and get it right the first time. Hesitating costs marks too, so the balance is between speed and care.
Whatever the stage, an illegal manoeuvre scores zero for that run.
